About Us

About Us

Welcome to Endeavour Academy Bexley. As a secondary school, our pupils enjoy a full curriculum of GCSE and BTEC qualifications, which mirrors mainstream schools. We want our pupils to have the same opportunities as a mainstream school and we pride ourselves on our curriculum offer.

Our pupils have a range of learning needs but we aim to instil the desire to learn and make progress and the belief that they can aim high and are able to achieve their goals.

  • Our vision is that no one should be disadvantaged through lack of opportunity.
  • We provide strong pastoral care and have excellent links with a wide range of external agencies. Our pupils and their families are encouraged to talk to us and we provide a warm friendly supportive environment in which they can confidently engage.
  • We set high expectations for our pupils and ask our families to support in helping them achieve and maintain these.
  • We aim to offer an inclusive curriculum that enables learning without limits.

We are proud to be the holder of the Gold Award from Young Citizens in Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural education. This reflects the experiences of our pupils while at Endeavour Academy as they make progress and journey on to new opportunities. See the report here

Our recent Ofsted inspection highlighted the partnership between our staff, pupils, parents/carers, Governors and being part of London South East Academies Trust. This resulted in Endeavour Academy maintaining a Good judgement.

Inspectors said: “Pupils enjoy their lessons and like coming to school…..School leaders and staff have high expectations for every pupil…..Pupils like the adults who work at the school. They feel safe at school…..adults deal with any unkind behaviour straight away. Pupils learn to talk about their thoughts and feelings and get better and better at this as they get older…… Teachers make lessons interesting and relevant to pupils…..The staff are a strength of the school.….The wider development of pupils is a strength. The curriculum includes many opportunities for pupils to have fulfilling and enriching experiences.”
