Tuesday 4 November 2025 Careers Trip - Costco Our Year 10 group was invited to visit Costco's in Chingford to take part in a work experience workshop. The students enjoyed a full tour of the warehouse and were informed about all the different roles within Costco. We were able to watch the bakery and butchery department at work and enjoy the tasty food. This trip gave the students a view of the retail aspect of a multinational company, and the various roles that exist in these locations. The departments that are based at a Costco warehouse include Optical, Majors, Hardlines, Produce, Bakery, Delicatessen, Butchery, Cafe, Receiving, Front- End, Administration. Students were given the chance to ask staff questions as we walked around.

Friday 10 October 2025 Hello Yellow- Quack Quest Break time was full of smiles on Friday 10th October! Students shared yummy cakes, joined in on Hello Yellow games and chats, and teamed up to hunt for hidden tiny ducks around school. The team that found the most won £25 towards their end-of-term trip — quack-tastic teamwork! #helloyellow #quackquest

Monday 6 October 2025 Trust Awards 2025 What a wonderful evening at the London South East Academies Awards Night! We are so proud of our students – it was incredible to celebrate their successes together. A huge thank you to Bexley Music Orchestra for their outstanding performance, and of course, not forgetting the brilliant TwinsMC! Truly a night to remember!

Monday 6 October 2025 Talk the Talk Throughout the workshop, pupils developed their confidence and sense of self-worth. They were encouraged to identify their individual skills and strengths, which helped them gain a better understanding of their personal capabilities. The workshop also included roleplay activities, such as mock interviews, which allowed pupils to apply these skills in realistic scenarios and further build their self-assurance.
