Our New year 7s absolutely loved their first experience of a double cooking lesson this week.
Transitioning from Primary to secondary school can always bring its challenges and with our pupils needs we know the change in routine and expectations secondary school can bring can be overwhelming. But these changes can also bring new experiences and that's definitely what our Year 7s got when they had their first Food Technology lesson. The class made flapjacks from scratch and had to listen to the recipe and understand the measurements. They were all responsible for their own portions and from all the smiles they thoroughly enjoyed it. No one was complaining of the lovely smells this brought for the first days back. Well done Year 7 we are so proud of you!
